The view, special even for Sárospatak, lends a magical atmosphere to the Vár Inn, restaurant and guesthouse.
Guests can revel in comfortable accommodation and courteous service, excellent kitchens and the renowned bouquets of Hegyalja wines or gaze out at slice of history, Rákóczi Castle.

For the comfort and convenience of our guests our restaurant has tthree cosy halls(seating 20-25-50), a coffe shop, a sheltered summer garden and a car park.
There is plenty of fun for the children in our private playground. Wine lovers can select from our wine collection. We undertake family and corporate functions.

Our comfortable guesthouse has six double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning and views looking across the front of Rákóczi Castle. The bedrooms can be equipped with extra beds if necessary.

Our services include: a protected enclosed parking area, TV, telephone, mini bar, safe, Internet access.

Traditional Hungarian cuisine with a superb fusion of flowers from the Hegyköz and the Bodrogköz areas, plenty of tasty fish soups and other fish dishes.
