ABOUT US Our guesthouse is located in the north-eastern part of Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg County, in a forest surrounded by 3 villages: Kisszekeres, Vámosoroszi and Nemesborzova. There are 3 twin rooms, 1 double and 1 triple bedrooms in the building. We are able to place extra beds in 3 bedrooms, so the guesthouse can accommodate 14 guests. There are 3 bathrooms with shower and 2 fully equipped kitchens for our guest’s comfort. One night costs 3500HUF/per person, including tax. The dining room can host 24, the barn in the yard 30 guests, which is perfect for parties and family occasions. There are toilets and a shower in the barn. We can provide every equipment for barbecue or grill parties. In the yard there are a sandy volleyball court, a skittle ground, facilities for tabletennis and outdoor chess and a playground is also at the guests’ disposal. The yard is ideal for camping as well. The 7 person capacity Finnish sauna is extra service. WHAT TO SEE AND DO The forest is almost 150 hectares and is part of the landscape protection area of the Szatmár-Bereg region thanks to its landscape and botanical values. The rivers Tisza and Túr are appropiate for canoe tours, fishing or swimming. The area abounds in attractions, which can be visited by bicycle. Renting is possible from the guesthouse. Nemesborzova is one of the county’s smallest villages. Its church with the wooden belfry is from the 18th century. You can also visit a country museum here. Penyige is famous for its plum. You can see in the local museum how to make jam and pálinka from this fruit. The watermill in Túristvándi is still working and open for visitors. Its predecessor is mentioned in the records as early as 1752. The wooden grave memorials with boat-shaped heads in the cemetery of Szatmárcseke are unique in Europe. Ferenc Kölcsey the writer of Hungary's national anthem, was born and lived his life in the village and is buried here too. Almost every small village has some hidden treasures, which are worth visiting.
