On the image the classicist style Roman Catholic church of Fono can be seen, of which's tower calls the attention of the corious travellers from far away. It was built in 1814. Most of the people of Fono - more than ninety percent - are Roman Catholic, the rest do not exercise their faith. Many go to the masses, the town does not have its own vicarage. The church is run by the priest of Golle, Levente Orvos.
