| ABOUT THE PARK
ACHILLES PARK is a RECREATION PARK AND HOLIDAY VILLAGE whic is situated in north-west part of Hungary in 22 hectars, 5 km far from the City GYŐR. The border of the park is the river Holt-Marcal which has a special and fantastic atmosfera. In the center of the territory there is a lake which is the base of recreation and fun. One side of the lake is the BEACH, where in the summer young people of Gyor coming to swim have fun and feel the Beach life of ACHILLES PARK. The other part of the lake is for FISHING. You can find several fishes in our lake. The remaining places are nice forests and bamboo where a lot of animal has quiet and safe home. This area is good for walking, jogging in the morning, or birdwatch. WHERE TO SLEEP The New Holiday Village which consist of 12 bamboo covered beachhouses is near the lake but in the forest. The houses are made of natural materials (wood and bamboo), with the best insolation. In the house there is a pretty bath, and one room. The furniture is handmade (check the photoes) and made of natutal wood using the ancient techniques. In the room there is TV, minibar, and electrical heating for the winter, because the park is working all year. FOR CHILDREN For the children there is a nice playground with sand, boats and paddle boats. In the Park grill and making fire is allowed at the assigned places only. FINALLY WHY YOU HAVE TO COME TO US? Az ACHILLES PARK is excellent place for young people and families as well, and after the summer season we offer for the people who like silince and nature. ACHILLES PARK beacuse of it`s geographical location and good connection to the main highway M1 is the best place to discover North-West Hungary, Monastry of Pannonhalma. In one hour driving you can make trips to Lake Balaton, Budapest, and the Capital of Austria Wien, Capital of Slovakia Bratislava. IN THE WEEKENDS BALLON EXCURSIONS.
